KelMar Escape was created from one of these such moments… and now our greatest joy is getting to create moment after moment in this special place, to share with you.
We also think having a fun, safe, magical place to escape to is exactly what we all need right now.
Together, their passions have created KelMar Escape.
Mark Ross is a Georgia native. As a southern boy, Mark grew up learning to cook by watching his grandmother, Mary Ellen. He finds true joy when others experience one of his ridiculously amazing meals. He definitely has a “Mark Ross Special Sauce” when he cooks. He has started a garden at KelMar Escape and is doing real farm to table experiences.
In addition to cooking and sports, Mark has 3 beautiful children, Payton, Parker and Presley.
He grew up playing on Lake Lanier with dreams of living on the lake one day. That dream became a reality after his first and only blind date, with Kelly.
Kelly is not a Georgia native but rather a Wisconsin transplant. Yes, she’s a “cheese head.”
Her two passions are creating environments that are so deliciously amazing you never want to leave (a handy skill for KelMar Escape!), and… Mark, her true love and soul mate.
Kelly used to live in Buckhead, Georgia. She’s a true workaholic, but she gets to work at what she loves, so she doesn’t mind. She has over 25 years of planning corporate events around the globe for Fortune 100 companies. She genuinely looks forward to sharing her knowledge with you to help you create your unique experience.
